The Council of Europe (Europarådet)

Official consultation on the Nordic model, requested by Mr. José Mendes Bota, former General Rapporteur on violence against women of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Regarding the report ”Prostitution, trafficking and modern slavery in Europe” ordered by The Council of Europe. Report results: ”In the light of these considerations, the Assembly calls on Council of Europe member and observer States, Parliamentary Assembly observer States and partners for democracy, to consider criminalizing the purchase of sexual services, based on the Swedish model, as the most effective tool for preventing and combating trafficking in human beings.” Read the full report here.


The Nordic-Baltic Knowledge Forum on Human Trafficking and Social Consequences

Invited on behalf of the Ministry of Interior of Latvia’ and ’the Nordic Council of Ministers. Invitations reached human trafficking experts from Nordic and Baltic countries, Russia, and representatives from authorities, government, and NGOs. Amongst the speakers were Britta Thomsen (former MEP), Alda Hrönn Jóhannsdóttir (Deputy Commissioner of Metropolitan Police in Island), and Sonja Mandt (Norwegian MP (AP) and member of the Nordic Council). Almedalen Week (Almedalsveckan)

Youth Festival - The Netherlands

Invited international guest speaker (a total amount of 5 lectures given on pornography, prostitution, and the Nordic model). Arranged and moderated by NGO Exxpose in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.


TV4 ”Malou Efter Tio”

A themed five days series: ”Porren - de ungas nya drog?” [Porn - young people’s new drug?] with national TV talk show “Malou Efter Tio”, a society-oriented program. Based on my coauthored book ”Visuell drog” [“Visual drug”]. Live TV interviews were conducted with many of the same youth and experts interviewed in the book.
